Liverpool's hectic schedule continues tonight when they take on Villarreal at Anfield in the first leg of their semi-final in the Champions League.

According to King on Twitter, Tchouameni is a player Liverpool are looking at but other clubs are in the frame, too. His tweet claims that Real Madrid are also eyeing the midfielder and are favourites for his signature. But he also claims that Liverpool are most definitely looking for a midfielder with his qualities.

According to AS, Liverpool are one of the candidates for the player's signature this summer, but the Spanish paper says the the Reds are just one of 'up to seven teams willing to undertake the operation' of acquiring the Uruguayan.
The 22-year-old has scored 33 goals in 39 matches in Portugal's Primeira Liga this season and found the net for Benfica against the Reds in both legs of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
AS say that Nunez is expected to team up with super agent Jorge Mendes who will then starting speaking to top clubs to 'advance his signing'. But if the Reds are serious about signing Nunez they will seemingly need to stump up some serious money. A further report from AS suggests that his transfer fee will not drop below €100million, with Benfica hopeful of achieving €130million.

According to the report, Liverpool are planning to announce the signing of Fabio Carvalho within weeks even though he will not officially join until 1 July. Football Insider claim a Liverpool source has told them that the club intend to announce the signing of Carvalho when the Championship season ends in May.
As already reported by the ECHO, the Reds are closing in on a deal worth an initial £5million to sign the 19-year-old attacking midfielder in the forthcoming transfer window having failed in an attempt to complete a move in January. Fulham boss Marco Silva has previously admitted he expects Carvalho to depart at the end of the season, despite the Cottagers having secured promotion back to the Premier League
