Liverpool crumble to pre-season defeat against Leeds after throwing away two-goal lead

Liverpool were beaten 4-2 by fellow Premier League club Leeds United in their pre-season friendly in Chicago on Sunday evening.
Liverpool raced into a two-goal lead in the first half thanks to goals from Luke Chambers and Florian Wirtz.
However, the Reds lost their way in the second half after making a number of changes at the break, with Brenden Aaronson pulling a goal back before Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Sean Longstaff scored within two minutes of each other to put Leeds in front.
Calvert-Lewin scored again with five minutes remaining to seal an impressive victory for Daniel Farke’s men.
New Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola admitted his side needs to make more signings following the loss, with the Premier League season now a little under three weeks away from getting started.
