Liverpool County FA has said that no official report has been made over claims a knife was pulled during a children's under-10s football match.
On Sunday, March 19, it was claimed by a parent that a man pulled a knife out at a spectator during Warner Rangers' match with Townsey Inter at Botanic Park in Wavertree.
Despite the parent's claims, the County FA said it is yet to receive any form of report of the incident. A spokesperson told the ECHO: "There are still no official reports this alleged incident took place. The referee didn’t see anyone with a knife, nor did either of the team officials.

"Despite the County FA logging the allegation with Merseyside Police, as a precaution, they have confirmed they have still yet to receive any reports confirming the incident."
The parent, who said he was at the park watching his son play in another game nearby, said the match was getting "more and more heated" and that it sounded "like a Premier League match".
