Liverpool are reportedly 'considering' a move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez if Roberto Firmino was to leave next summer. Firmino is into the final year of his deal at Anfield and it remains to be seen whether he will be offered a chance to extend his stay.
Firmino has attracted interest from Inter's Serie A rivals Juventus in this transfer window after a reported €19.5 million bid was made. The ECHO understands Liverpool have no appetite for selling Firmino this summer.
Mohamed Salah may be the only left out of one of Europe's most feared forward trios as Sadio Mane has already exited for Bayern Munich and the future of Firmino is uncertain.

The report from Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claims that Liverpool are considering making a move for the Argentine international as a potential replacement for Firmino. Martinez has impressed during his time with Inter and has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League.
The striker also netted a brilliant goal at Anfield last season, as Liverpool knocked Inter out of the Champions League.
However, any move by Jurgen Klopp seems unlikely with striker Darwin Nunez being signed in June and, at 23-years-old, he has plenty of room for growth and development under one of the best managers around.
Liverpool's new look front three of Nunez, Luis Diaz and Salah will start to take shape this upcoming season, but lets not forget about Diogo Jota. Unfortunately, the Portugal international suffered a reoccurrence of a hamstring injury, but he will come back ready to fire the goals in once again.
