Liverpool have performed a U-turn on their plans to increase ticket prices.
Season tickets and general admission for matches at Anfield were set to rise over the next three years in line with the rate of inflation starting from the 2026/27 campaign.
Fans responded to the proposed price hikes with a series of protests taking place at Liverpool's home matches against Fulham, Paris Saint-Germain and Crystal Palace.

Flags and banners were removed from The Kop for all three fixtures while supporters were encouraged not to spend any money in the stadium in disapproval at the move.
Fans also raised yellow cards in their thousands during the 13th minute of the Palace game to reflect the up to 13% increase set to be implemented by the Reds' hierarchy.
However Liverpool have now rowed back on those plans after confirming that a price freeze will take effect in 2027/28 after the implemented 3% mark-up for next season.
"Further discussions will take place with the Supporters Board for future seasons," read a club statement.
"The club and Supporters Board will use the certainty of these seasons to seek longer-term alternative solutions across the game and explore commercial ideas with the Supporters Board in an attempt to avoid future ticket price increases and address issues around affordability and accessibility for future generations.
"LFC believes that, without wider progress on alternative solutions, future inflationary increases may still be required, including season 2028-29, and will continue to engage with its supporters.
"Both the club and the Supporters Board are committed to exploring a longer-term solution that works in the interests of all.
"The club also remains committed to managing its cost challenges responsibly, giving advance notice to supporters and certainty to its own financial planning to remain competitive at the highest levels of football."
Liverpool have also announced plans to implement a young adults section in the Anfield Road Stand, which was rebuilt to take the stadium's capacity over 61,000.
