Liverpool have confirmed Tyler Morton will spend the season on loan at Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
The 19-year-old has been allowed to move to Ewood Park with the Reds keen for him to gain further senior experience after making his first-team breakthrough last season.
Morton, who has been at the Academy since the age of seven, came through the ranks at both under-18 and U23 level before making his senior debut as a half-time substitute in the League Cup win at Norwich City last September.

The teenager also made starts in the Champions League - playing 90 minutes at home to FC Porto and away to AC Milan - and in the FA Cup, and began the 2-2 Premier League draw at Tottenham Hotspur last December. Morton ended the season with nine appearances in all competitions.
Liverpool had temporarily put the move to Blackburn on hold due to a lack of availability in pre-season given a number of injuries to midfield and forward players.
Morton is the latest player to move to Ewood Park on loan from Anfield. Harvey Elliott was a huge success at Blackburn during the 2020/21 season, although Leighton Clarkson had his spell at the Lancashire side cut short last campaign.
Morton is eligible to play for Blackburn in both cup competitions this season, but not if they are drawn to face Liverpool.
Blackburn are now managed by Jon Dahl Tomasson, who was part of the AC Milan side beaten by Liverpool in the Champions League final in Istanbul in 2005.
