Liverpool confirm Alexander Isak injury blow as record signing set for months on sidelines

Injury blow confirmed: Alexander Isak - (Liverpool FC via Getty Images)

Alexander Isak is facing a matter of months on the sidelines with a fractured left leg, Liverpool have confirmed.

The striker, who moved to Merseyside from Newcastle in a British-record deal, suffered the injury in the act of scoring the opener as Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 on Saturday.
