Liverpool Comic Con has announced a number of cancellations ahead of the event this weekend.
Sci-fi fans, comic book lovers and cosplay enthusiasts are expected to meet many of their favourite celebrities at the event. Liverpool Comic Con returns to the Exhibition Centre Liverpool on April 1 and 2.
Ahead of the weekend, a number of cancellations have been announced, including Aladdin and Full House star Scott Weinger. Guests have pulled out of the event due to changes in their current filming schedules.

The Walking Dead star Pollyanna McIntosh has also withdrawn from the event. The Comic Con team shared the news on social media.

In a post on Facebook, the team said: “Unfortunately Scott Weinger has had a production schedule change and will be unable to attend Comic Con this weekend. All solo autograph and photograph tickets will now be refunded. The team will also refund part of the group photo. Linda and Jonathan are both still attending as scheduled.”
In another post, the team shared the news that Pollyanna McIntosh would be rescheduling. The star sent a video to explain the situation.
In the video, she said: “Hello, Pollyanna here. I’m so sorry to tell you that I’m not going to be at Liverpool Comic Con this weekend. Unfortunately, things have change with the filming schedule here and I have to remain.
“So I won’t be there to see you guys and I’m really sorry because I was really looking forward to it.”
She added: “I’m just sending you much love and let Steven Ogg know that he has to give you double Walking Dead family love now. Sorry Steven. So much love from me here.”
