Liverpool business secures deal with The Shard and O2 Academy contractor

A Liverpool fire protection specialist has bought a North East company that has worked on a number of London's major attractions.

BusinessLive first reported Fieldway Group had acquired Intumescent Protective Coatings (IPCL) for an undisclosed sum.

IPCL has worked on buildings in London including The Shard, Battersea Power Station and the O2 Arena.
