England cricket star and Nottingham Forest fan Stuart Broad has offered to give Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp a tour of his city ahead of the two sides' meeting this weekend.
Forest welcome the Reds on Sunday in a mouth-watering FA Cup quarter-final clash. The City Ground will be packed to the rafters as the hosts aim to pull off a third cup shock at home this season.
Steve Cooper's side have already dumped out Arsenal and holders Leicester City and are now setting their sights on a third Premier League scalp. Klopp, whose side are unbeaten domestically in 2022, says his only previous experience of Nottingham is from one of its most famous exports.
"Before the international break we have an incredibly important game against Nottingham," Klopp said. "It's my first time there. I know Nottingham only from when I was a kid watching Robin Hood! I always thought that's how it would look there but there's probably no time for sight-seeing for us, but we're still looking forward to it.
"I want a team in Nottingham who are mentally and physically ready. We will be the fourth Premier League team they've faced (in cup competitions) so they have not had it easy so far. Our former coach (Steve Cooper) is doing a proper job there.

"It was a while ago we played a final at Wembley before the Carabao Cup final. The atmosphere the people created that day was no different to a Champions League final. This is another fantastic opportunity."
Broad, who was controversially omitted from the England Test squad that is currently touring West Indies, responded to Klopp's comments on Twitter saying: "I’m sure we could arrange the team coach to stop at Sherwood Forest on the way down if need be! Robin Hood & his merry men. Can’t wait for Sunday, The City Ground is going to be bouncing!"
If Liverpool are to avoid becoming the latest top flight side to come a cropper at the City Ground, then they will have to do it without key defender Trent Alexander-Arnold. Klopp confirmed the right-back had sustained a hamstring injury and will be out for several weeks.
The Reds boss said: "Trent is out with a hamstring, so will be out for England too. Not good news, we will see how long it takes. We need some luck [with injuries]. We rest here and rotate there and we can make it more likely players can come back easier. Five subs is essential."
Alexander-Arnold's absence will force Klopp to seek solutions on the right-hand side of his defence. James Milner has previously filled in when required whilst Joe Gomez could also come in. Klopp added: "To replace him (Alexander-Arnold) is difficult but possible. We have Milner, Gomez, these kind of things. Trent is so influential but Milner has done incredibly well in the past. We'll see how Milly is for Sunday. Maybe a young solution?"
