Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp does not believe this season's Premier League will be another two-horse race between his side and current champions Manchester City. Three of the past four seasons have seen the Reds and City jostle it out for the title, with Pep Guardiola's side coming out on top in 2019 and 2022 by a solitary point, with Liverpool sealing the league crown in 2020.
Despite the pair being overwhelming favourites to once again dominate the division, Klopp thinks it could be a more even fight this term. City have made a perfect start as they look to seal a fifth title in six years, with Guardiola's men recording two wins from two and yet to concede.
As for Liverpool, they looked below-par in a 2-2 draw at Fulham in their opener. They will be looking to pick up maximum points in their first home game of the season against Crystal Palace on Monday night.
