Jurgen Klopp has warned Man City that his “incredible” players can deliver one last twist in the Premier League title race.
Liverpool defender Joel Matip’s second half winner at St Mary’s took the drama to a final day shoot-out with title rivals Manchester City. City must beat Steven Gerrard ’s Aston Villa to guarantee being crowned champions but Klopp said that he knows his managerial rival Pep Guardiola will not be taking it for granted. Liverpool boss Klopp, whose quadruple-chasing side entertain Wolves on Sunday, said: “If I was in the other situation then I don’t feel like I’m champion already.
"I’m second and I think: ‘yeah, of course City win.’ But this is football. And also we still have to beat Wolves and have one ear in Manchester, it’s not that far away.
