Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Naby Keita and Arthur Melo have all been named in Liverpool’s initial 33-man squad for their mid-season training camp in Dubai.
With the Premier League currently on hiatus for the World Cup in Qatar, the Reds, who are next in competitive action against Manchester City in the League Cup on December 22, flew out to the United Arab Emirates on Monday ahead of returning to training, having not played since last month’s victory over Southampton on November 12.
And the injured quartet have all been included in the group as they continue to work on their individual rehabilitation programmes from their respective lay-offs. As a result, they are unlikely to be involved in Liverpool's Dubai Super Cup friendlies against Lyon on December 11 and AC Milan on December 16.
