Storm Franklin live updates as roads closed and tree falls on tracks
Storm Franklin has hit Liverpool with the Met Office warning winds could reach up to 60mph.
A Met Office yellow weather warning is in place for rain and wind across Merseyside.
People are being warned there could be damage to buildings and that travel disruption is likely.

Merseyrail said there will be early morning cancellations on Monday.
A number of roads are closed due to fallen trees, flooding and crashes.
These include the M6, Moor Lane (Inc Blundell), West Point Expressway Northbound, Halewood Road and Riverside Drive.

A woman who became 'addicted to takeaways' while travelling abroad has lost seven stone in just seven months.
Tiffany Stapleton, 27, said she had always considered herself on the ‘bigger side’.
But while travelling around Australia and New Zealand she found herself gaining more weight.

The customer support advisor from Liverpool struggled with depression during her travels and often turned to food for comfort - indulging in nightly takeaways of pizza, chips, and burgers.
During her four-year stint abroad, Tiffany was eating 4,000 calories a day and she soon weighed 16st 8lb.
Tiffany and her boyfriend, Jordan, 30, an account manager, who she met while travelling, found themselves stuck in New Zealand when the country went into lockdown during the coronavirus outbreak in January 2020.
