Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told Emmanuel Macron that Israel expects support from France and not restrictions after the French president called for a halt to arms supplies to Israel for use in Gaza. This comes after an Israeli strike on a mosque sheltering displaced people in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza early Sunday killed at least 21 people, according to the Gaza civil defence agency. Read our blog to see how the day's events unfolded.
