Live at Leeds: In The Park is taking place for the first time at Temple Newsam and we have all the important information you need ahead of the festival.
The Live at Leeds team are debuting their new Temple Newsam event on Saturday, June 4. Some of those on the bill include Bombay Bicycle Club, The Vaccines, Sports Team, Sea Girls, The Pigeon Detectives, Arlo Parks and Confidence Man.
Live at Leeds has been known for championing aspiring new stars. Down the years, some of those who have performed at Live at Leeds on their way to stardom have included Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Royal Blood among many others.

After the success of their Leeds city centre event, the team have expanded and launched the new Temple Newsam party. Ahead of it, we are bringing you everything you need to know about Live at Leeds: In The Park.

Set times
Gates for Live at Leeds: In The Park will open at 12.30pm on Saturday, June 4. The first act is due on stage at 1.30pm with the event’s curfew being 11pm. Below, you’ll see the full list of acts performing and who is playing where:

Travel info
There’s various ways you can arrive at Live at Leeds: In The Park. The nearest train station to the Temple Newsam site is Leeds Train Station. From there, you’ll be able to make your way to the festival in a number of ways. You’ll find details below:
Shuttle bus
Live at Leeds: In The Park is running a shuttle bus service from Leeds city centre directly to the festival site and back again. Pick up and drop off will be based in Sovereign Street. Travel to the site will run between 11.30am and 4pm with return visits operating later in the day. Single tickets are priced at £4 and returns are £8.
Cars parking
You can drive to Live at Leeds and park. Options are located off a junction off the M1 and A63. For sat nav location of the entrance search ‘Temple Newsam Park - Event Road’ and then follow the yellow festival signage once approaching the site. No cars are to be left overnight. Car parking tickets can be purchased in advance through the event’s website.
Taxi and drop off points
There will be spaces for taxis and those being dropped off by family and friends at the north entrance to the site. This is accessed via the public entrance on Temple Newsam Road via the A64.
Banned items
Like any major event, organisers have a list of banned items which you are not allowed to bring to the festival site. This is to ensure the event can run safely for those attending. Items banned from the festival include:
- Drugs
- Glass bottles
- Cans
- Flasks
- Cool boxes and hampers
- Flags/banners
- Helium balloons
- Sharp/large rings
- Flares and firework, smoke grenades, airhorns
- Bags larger than A3 size (30cm x 42cm x 19cm)
- Laser pointers/pens and glow sticks
- Sharp objects, any items that could potentially be used as a weapon
- Audio or video recording devices such as personal computers, laptops, iPads and tablets
- Selfie sticks, Go-Pros or similar devices
- Large umbrellas, parasols, tents, gazebos
- Any chairs including collapsible, or any other item of furniture (unless you have pre-arranged access passes)
- Skateboard, roller skates, bicycles, hoverboards
- Balls, frisbees, kites
- Barbecues
- Lanterns or anything that can be lit with a naked flame
- Drones or other UAV devices
You are not allowed to bring food and drink into the festival. There will be public water points based at the site with food vendors and bars in operation.
