Out of the limelight but still a force to be reckoned with, Australia's men's road race team believe they can conjure up another special day to climax the historic world championships in Rwanda.
Like last year's event in Zurich, the eyes will be drawn elsewhere with some of the sport's great names, headed by reigning champ Tadej Pogacar, Olympic gold medallist Remco Evenepoel and Primoz Roglic, bound to be the centre of attention in a stellar field on Sunday.
But Hindley, the former Giro d'Italia winner who just missed the podium in the recent Vuelta a Espana, fancies the chances of the Australian team, who have several options to go for gold with not just himself but also Michael Matthews, Jay Vine and Michael Storer in the mix.
