Little Mix's Perrie Edwards left crying in bed after final show in emotional Instagram video

Perrie Edwards was left crying bed after Little Mix performed the final show of their Confetti tour, before taking their much publicised break.

The former X Factor winners and Brit winners broke news of their plans to take some time away from the spotlight towards the end of last year, in a Twitter post which read: "We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix."

They continued: "We are not splitting up - Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more."

The post ended with Perrie and bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock vowing to fans that Little Mix is 'forever,' but, whether that turns out to be true or not, they have definitely performed their final gig for a while as their Confetti tour ended at London's O2 Arena on Saturday night.

The famous venue was packed to the rafters with Little Mix fans, with others heading to cinemas across the country to watch a special screening. And it was clearly an emotional night all round as, after leaving the arena, South Shields singer Perrie took to Instagram in tears.

Lying in bed with her dog Hatchi, a red eyed Perrie wrote: "Hatchi tryna wipe away my tears...he's going to be here all night me thinks." She made the post in the early hours of Sunday and then the group made a joint statement on social media later in the day.

It read: "Our hearts are so full! Last night was incredible and we can’t quite believe the Confetti tour is over. We love each and every one of you that has come to a show, played our music and supported us over the past 10 years. You mean the world to us."
