When shopping online at Amazon, the Prime Day sale event currently taking place is a great way to make some extra savings on the things you need to buy.
But since this only occurs for two days out of the year, you might be wondering what other features on the site you can take advantage of to get the best bargains.
One of these little-known sections on the website is the 'vouchers' area, and bargain-hunting shoppers can check this out for certain savings that can be added to their baskets and are automatically applied at the checkout.
The Mirror reports that to find it, you go to the top of the site beneath the main Amazon search bar, and it's located next to Prime Video.
It's designed to help shoppers find the best discount codes for things that they might want to buy.
How to find Amazon vouchers
Reminiscent of the times when we used to rip coupons out of newspapers and present them at shopping tills, this feature works in a similar but much more efficient way.
Amazon shoppers who visit this page can collect a voucher for a specific product, and once added to a shopper's basket the discount will automatically be applied.
Once it's clicked it'll automatically stick to your account, so there's no risk of accidentally losing it.
Similar to Prime's 'lightning deals', the vouchers often can't be used for very long, so it's worth taking advantage straight away if you spot a deal you like.
What kind of products can you save on?
The section is also split into Amazon's usual categories, so shoppers can find products more easily and filter search results by 'discount percentage', 'newest', 'oldest', 'expiring soon' and 'most popular'.
The deals here might be slightly different to the big-name brands included in the Prime Day sale, and are rather aimed at shoppers looking to stock up on basic items like shampoo, pet food, and kitchen appliances.

- 5% off Vileda Mop and Mop accessories
- 50% off Hot Styling Hair Dryer Brush
