Scott Wright has admitted a "little knock" ruled him out of action for Rangers against Sparta Prague.
The winger joined the TNT Sports broadcast before kick-off and provided an update on the knock he suffered in the Viaplay Cup semi-final against Hearts.
Wright said: "I just took a little knock at the cup semi-final there. Thankfully nothing too serious but today just came a little bit too early for me.
"I'm absolutely gutted to miss it, the European nights under the lights at Ibrox are always special.
"Hopefully, I'll be back very soon."
Clement had previously said of the injury: "It is a small muscle problem he had in the last action of the game on Sunday. The next day it felt a little worse.
"It’s not a really serious thing but if you take the risk it can become more serious."
Wright - who scored at Hampden at the weekend - was gutted to miss the Europa League fixture after blossoming at Ibrox having been given a fresh start under Clement.
He added: "I think you can see the momentum of the team starting to build under the new manager.
"And for me personally it was a fresh slate and a chance to stake my claim in the team.
"I hadn't played as much under the previous manager as I would have liked but I have been given an opportunity and it is just about me trying to grab it with both hands."
