Mackenzie Little has again demonstrated her remarkable ability to balance life as a fulltime doctor with the demands of a professional athlete by powering into the women's javelin final at the world championships.
It was one and done for the astonishing Dr Little, who bettered the automatic qualifying mark on Friday with a huge throw of 65.54m in the opening round.
It would have been good enough to win silver at last year's Paris Olympics and was bigger than the throw that earned her bronze at the 2023 world championships in Budapest.
