A little girl who had a “broken heart” has had it mended in a miraculous operation as her mum thanks the doctors who saved the young tot.
Leah Sharp was diagnosed with atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD) back in August 27, 2019.
This is a rare heart defect that means there are holes between the left and right side of the four-year-old’s heart, The Daily Record reports .
