Literacy boost plea to improve student success

If Tasmania only has the capacity to do one thing well in education over the decade, then it must bolster its literacy programs in schools.

That's the verdict from an independent review into the state's education system, sparked by concerns almost half of Tasmania's young people don't meet the standard for a year 12 certificate or equivalent.
