List of Jeffrey Epstein's Associates Released in Court Filing Against Ghislaine Maxwell

A U.S. court ordered the release of a list of names linked to the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The list was released Wednesday (Jan 3) as part of a lawsuit filed against Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite who accompanied Epstein on his predatory route for years.

The names on the list include those of more than 184 associates of Epstein, including people with whom he had business relationships, witnesses and accusers.

The order came from Judge Loretta Preska, who in December 2023 ordered the list released so that individuals in court filings would have an opportunity to appeal the decision.

The list includes the names of Epstein's alleged victims as well as associates.

Among the people included are some who have already been mentioned, such as Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom. Another person is former U.S. President Bill Clinton, whom Epstein referred to as "a good friend." Also former President Trump is mentioned in the documents but no reference is made to any illicit behavior on his part.

The order stems from a lawsuit Virginia Giuffre filed against Maxwell. Giuffre alleges that Maxwell recruited her to lure underage girls to be introduced to Epstein.

Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 of sex trafficking. The British socialite was sentenced to 20 years in prison but is currently appealing the case.

The list of names included variants of J Doe and inclusion on the list does not mean that the individuals were charged with any crime because of their relationship with Epstein.

Epstein died in his cell in a New York jail while undergoing his criminal proceedings on federal sex trafficking charges.
