Lisandro Martinez has listed four key attributes he will bring to the Manchester United dressing room, including a strong desire to win and an ever-present helping hand.
United completed the signing of centre-back Martinez in a £46.8million, potentially rising to £55.3m, deal on Wednesday as Erik ten Hag looked to reinforce his defensive line. The Argentine has signed a five-year contract, with the option of a further 12 months, at Old Trafford and becomes the third summer signing following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen.
Martinez's new teammates got a taste of what he will offer the side in a behind-closed-doors friendly over Wrexham on Wednesday. The 24-year-old partnered Raphael Varane in the heart of defence as United ran out 4-1 winners over the National League side.
