Manchester United players have congratulated Alejandro Garnacho on signing a new five-year contract with the club.
Garnacho, 18, is now under contract at Old Trafford until the end of the 2027/2028 season, longer than any other player currently at United. Antony, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo have all signed deals in the last 12 months that extend until the summer of 2027.
Two of that quartet have shared their well wishes with the teenager on social media after the Argentina international marked the momentous occasion with an Instagram post sharing several photographs taken after putting pen to paper on the extension.

Garnacho posed for photos holding a 'Garnacho 2028' home shirt in the dressing room and pitchside at Old Trafford, as well as signing the contract alongside manager Erik ten Hag, his girlfriend, Eva Garcia, plus younger brother Roberto, father Alex and mother Patricia Ferreyra Fernandez.
A pair of first-team players and several others in the Academy replied to Garnacho's post. Club and international teammate Martinez commented: "Let's goooo bro congrats!!" Diogo Dalot's reply reads: "Let's go Garnachinho!"
Amad, currently on loan at Sunderland, also commented with a heart eyes and hands clapping emoji. Fellow youngster Mainoo said: "top man," while Facundo Pellistri left clapping hands, red heart and fire emojis in the comments.
Charlie McNeill, who is at Newport County on loan, replied: "Garnnnnsss," followed by a writing hand emoji. U21s player Isak Hansen-Aaroen also sent Garnacho a pair of emoji showing two hands raised in the air.
