Lisa Snowdon has opened up about her near-fatal battle with meningitis as the UK responds to a fast-moving outbreak of the disease in Kent.
Health officials are dealing with a cluster of around 20 cases centred on Canterbury, with two young people confirmed to have died. The outbreak has largely affected students and young adults, with cases linked to close-contact social settings.
