Lisa Marie Presley "never recovered" from the death of her son, grieving the tragic loss right up until her sudden death this week. In 2020, Presley's son Benjamin tragically took his own life just 27 years old.
It is reported that the 54-year-old lived the last two-and-a-half years of her life in an “unrelenting grip” of despair, with an insider saying the trauma "broke her soul and it broke her heart.” Benjamin, son of Lisa Marie and musician Danny Keough, died by suicide at his home in Calabasas, California.
A source told the Mirror on Friday: “No one quite grasped just how Ben’s death truly affected Lisa. When she looked at her son, she saw her father in so many ways. She never recovered. It broke her soul, and it broke her heart.”
