Lisa Marie Presley appeared unsteady as she spoke ahead of the Golden Globes awards show on Tuesday.
The only daughter of Elvis Presley appeared at the awards ceremony days before her death at age 54.
Lisa died after she suffered a possible cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California and was taken to hospital.
During an interview with Extra, she turned to her pal Jerry Schilling, 80, and said "I'm gonna grab your arm" while she answered questions.
In the interview, Lisa chattered to Extra reporter Billy Brush and spoke of Austin Butler's performance as her late father Elvis in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic of the same name.
Lisa spoke slowly in the interview as she said she needed "five days to process" Butler's performance as her father because it was "so authentic".
In another video from the event, Lisa was spotted crashing an Entertainment Tonight interview with Austin Butler.
Austin was seen holding Lisa's hand and helping her up to a platform as the group discussed Austin's performance as Elvis.
When asked about Austin's performance, Elvis' daughter called it "truly mind-blowing".
She added: "I really didn't know what to do with myself after I saw it. I had to take like five days to process it because it was so incredible and so spot on and so authentic that I can't even describe what it meant."
She was later photographed at the event with Austin, Elvis biopic director Baz Luhrmann and her mother Priscilla.
Elvis' only daughter Lisa was rushed to hospital on Thursday after paramedics performed CPR on her after being called to her house over a suspected heart attack.
They were able to regain a pulse before transporting the 54-year-old to hospital, TMZ reported at the time. She was subsequently understood to be receiving treatment.
But, it has since been announced that Lisa Marie has died.
Lisa's mum Priscilla announced her daughter's death in an emotional statement.
Priscilla said: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
"She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment."
A source told TMZ she had been found unresponsive in her bedroom on Thursday morning.
Her ex-husband Danny Keough is said to have performed CPR after her housekeeper found her.
Tributes have poured in overnight for Lisa, as Diane Warren shared her sadness at the "horrible news".
She added: "the entire world is sending love and prayers to Priscilla and Lisa Marie's children right now".
Beach Boys co-founder Brian Wilson said: "It's hard to take when someone so young and full of life passes on."
While actress Marlee Matlin wrote: "I had the chance to know Cilla Presley when I was on Dancing With the Stars and as a mother, I can't imagine the pain she must be going through with the untimely passing of Lisa Marie."
