Lisa Armstrong made a sly dig at her ex-husband Ant McPartlin as she spoke about "loyalty and trust" in her new romance.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist split from the television presenter, and has since moved on with her new man James Green, with the pair regularly sharing snaps of all their lovely holidays together.
As she appeared on Steph's Packed Lunch on Channel 4 today, Lisa opened up about what makes a happy relationship for her as her and the panellists discussed romance.
Explaining the importance of "loyalty, trust and laughter" in a romance, she said: "I totally agree, I think you need to have your own independence within the relationship so you are able to go off and do your own thing.
"You can be with your mates or go football with the boys, whatever it is what each other are doing, and then come back and enjoy listening to each other's stories. Like how was your day, how was your work."
She added: "Absolutely [your partner's got to let you fly]. Let the other person fly and be their own independent person, but then you come together and realise that you're better as a couple and there's trust, loyalty and laughter. I've had some lovely holidays."
Earlier in the show, Lisa also opened up how to cope with fallouts.
"I just think at the end of the day, life is too short, isn't it? Agree to disagree in some aspects but at the end of the day, friends are your friends - they've always been there," she explained.
"Whether it's an old friend, sort the differences out and then maybe then just agree to disagree and get on with it. That's my opinion, that's your opinion. It might not be the same but that's ok."
Lisa has been jetting all over the world recently, as a source claimed she wants another beach wedding to James.
"She's told James she would love for a beach wedding and he’s hinted at a holiday proposal, which of course makes her very happy and would bring her joy," a source told Closer magazine.
"LA holds a special place in her heart as it helped her heal and she truly believes it was a trip there that helped her to rebuild after her divorce and put her in the right headspace to fall in love again."
