Liquidator appointed to Grangemouth engineering firm after HMRC court action

A LIQUIDATOR has been appointed to a Scottish civil engineering firm.

It comes after HMRC court action was brought against the Grangemouth company, according to The Herald.

TM Civil Engineering Limited, registered at Gateway Business Park, was apparently involved in the “construction of civil engineering projects”.

But the firm was the subject of a petition presented to Falkirk Sheriff Court by His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs in June.

It called for the company to be wound up and for the court to appoint a liquidator, with the action also inviting interested parties to get in contact.

Aver Chartered Accountants has now been appointed liquidator, who said: “I can confirm the company is in liquidation. No further information can be disclosed at this time regarding the circumstances or redundancy position.”
