The Detroit Lions have agreed to their first outside addition of the 2023 free agency period.
Detroit will sign cornerback Cam Sutton to a three-year deal worth a total of $33 million, per NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport. The deal will not be official until the free agent signing period begins on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.
Sutton, 28, started 31 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers over the last two seasons. He recorded 43 tackles and three INTs for the Steelers in 2022 while playing both outside and in the slot.
