It’s not a name that will move the needle for many Detroit fans, but the Lions have brought back their first free agent for the 2023 offseason.
Reserve offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher re-signed with the Lions on Wednesday. Terms are not yet officially disclosed, but it’s believed to be a one-year deal for the veteran lineman.
Pierchbacher played in three games for the Lions after initially being signed to the team’s practice squad. He only played on special teams. The 27-year-old can play any of the interior line positions after playing center in his college career at Alabama. He’s been with several NFL teams since being drafted in the fifth round by Washington back in 2019.
