Speaking ahead of Miami's upcoming MLS clash against the New York Red Bulls, Martino praised Messi, stating, 'Messi can move everywhere on the pitch, he is the best footballer in the world and a great goalscorer.' Martino also attributed Messi's resurgence to the reduced frequency of matches, allowing the star player to regain his top form.
Inter Miami is currently enjoying a four-game unbeaten streak and sits atop the Eastern Conference table with 21 points from 11 games. Messi's impact on the team has been significant, propelling Miami to a strong position in the league standings.
