A Linwood man threatened to stab three people who he claimed owed him money.
Dale Gribben, of Morven Drive, turned up at a flat in Well Street in Paisley with two other males in October 2020, demanding his money back or he would stab people and break a man’s neck.
Gribben, 26, admitted he repeatedly stuck the door at the Paisley flat, repeatedly attempted to gain access as well as repeatedly make threats of violence to three people.
Court heard the incident took place within the common close of 1 Well Street.
The building is accessed via a secure entry door, however at the time of the incident, the mechanism was broken.

The procurator fiscal told the court: “ About 1.20pm on Wednesday, October 28, the witnesses Ainsley Shaw, George Skinner and David Geary were within the living room of the property.
“They heard the front door being banged and shouting and swearing coming from outside. They recognised the voice to be Gribben.
“The accused was shouting about money stating that they were going to break the witnesses Geary’s neck upon entering the flat.
“Witnesses looked through the peep hole of the door and the letter box and they saw Gribben and two others trying to open the front door. Witness Skinner held the handle of the front door shut and himself against the door to prevent them from entering.
“The witnesses saw Gribben kicking the front door shouting threats such as, ‘I’m going to stab you’ and ‘I’ll go through your door with a hammer.’
“Shaw stated that her uncle, witness Skinner was there and on hearing this the accused shouted, ‘If I’m no getting my money yous are all getting stabbed, I don’t give a f**k if your uncle is there or not he’s getting swung about too.’
“Gribben also shouted, ‘David, I’m going to snap your neck when I get through this door.’
“Shaw confirmed she owed the accused money in her statement but was unable to pay it until November 8.
“Witness Geary contacted the police who attended and upon arrival saw three males, including the accused exiting the common close and police stopped Gribben.
“Shaw, Geary and Skinner told police what happened.
"Gribben was formally cautioned and charged for a Section 38 offence, despite the terms of the threats, no weapons were found in the vicinity or in the possession of the accused or other males.
“Gribben was arrested and taken to Govan police station where he made no reply to caution and charge.”
