A Linwood couple were taken to hospital after they were attacked by a gang of thugs who robbed them in their own home.
The man and woman were at their home in the town's Morar Drive last night (April 12) when three brutes wearing dark tracksuits burst into the property.
They were both attacked by the gang who then raided the property for valuables before fleeing the scene shortly after 6.45pm.
The man, aged 42, and 37-year-old woman were taken to Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment following the terrifying incident.

The man received treatment from medics for injuries sustained in the attack while the woman was found to have sustained minor injuries that did not require further treatment.
Detectives in Renfrewshire have now launched an investigation into the robbery in a bid to catch the home raiders.
Extensive enquiries are currently being carried out by officers to establish who is responsible..
The three male suspects are described as having Scottish accents and were all wearing dark tracksuits.
Officers are also appealing for help from the public to establish the circumstances.
Detective Constable Donald MacIntyre, of Paisley CID, said: “I would ask anyone who knows anything about this incident or saw people acting suspiciously around the area to contact us.
“We are also keen for any local residents with private CCTV or dashcam footage to please come forward.
“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2727 of 12 April. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
