LinkedIn layoffs: Over 600 employees to lose jobs as company restructures operations

As many as 606 employees at professional networking platform LinkedIn were notified of permanent layoffs last week, according to a report by the New York Post, which cited a new Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) report.

The report said that the layoffs will take effect on July 13.
