David Healy is backing new signings Ben Hall and Kieran Evans to have a positive impact at Linfield after a flurry of Deadline Day activity at Windsor Park.
Former Northern Ireland U21 defender Hall has signed a two-and-a-half year deal, while Cardiff City winger Evans has joined on loan for the remainder of the season.
It has been a busy day for Healy who was also linked with late moves for Larne striker Ronan Hale and St Johnstone and Finnish forward Eetu Vertainen.
Hall, 25, who counts Brighton and Hove Albion, Motherwell and Notts County as former clubs, had parted company with Falkirk by mutual consent earlier in the day.
Healy said: “We have chased Ben for a few windows now and he is a player we have been looking at for quite a while, so I’m delighted he’s finally through the door now.
“He is a player we’ve known about for a long time and some of the staff have worked with him before, so we know his credentials as a player and person.
“He has already played a lot of games this season and he comes with a wealth of experience. He will add good experience and will prove a good addition to the club.
“He’s also from Northern Ireland so he knows a lot about the club, which is important. He’s looking forward to it.”
Evans came up through the Cardiff City academy system and has made six appearances for the senior team, his last outing coming in a 2-1 FA Cup win over Preston earlier this month.
Healy said: “Kieron comes highly recommended and the coaches at Cardiff believe he has a big future in the game.
“He's a talented player who can play in a number of attacking positions and his signing will strengthen the squad and provide us with further options.”
