Lindsay Lohan's iconic mansion from the movie "The Canyons" is now on the market for a whopping $6.3 million.
If you fancy bagging this property for the eye-watering price, it is a rare opportunity to experience the thrill of living like Tara, the former model played by Lohan in the critically acclaimed film, directed by Paul Schrader.
The property figures front and center throughout the thriller, offering an incredible backdrop.
Lohan played Tara in the movie, who lived in the mansion with her low-budget horror movie producer boyfriend, Christian (played by James Deen).
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home was designed by renowned architect Vitus Matare and offers stunning unobstructed views of Catalina, the Channel Islands, Carbon Canyon, and the Pacific.
The house, pool house, and detached studio have all been crafted with "meticulous attention to detail and quality", the listing reads.
The pool house is probably bigger than the size of most apartments - it comes complete with a bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, a living room and multiple patios. It is all set amongst the rolling hills for heaps of privacy.
The mansion, nestled on a lofty plot within a canyon, provides a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" to experience luxury living in one of the world's most sought-after locations, the listing adds.
The compound also offers covered parking for five vehicles, two garage spaces, and a carport with three spaces.
Outside, it features a pool deck, a massive plateau fashioned with multiple terraced areas, a built-in BBQ and striking views of the surrounding landscape.
"This is a unique chance to enjoy the magnificent beauty of Malibu's natural surroundings in a private and particularly tranquil setting," the listing states.
The bougie pad was a last-minute find for the production team. The current owner told DIRT: “They were just about to begin filming at a modern house in Venice when we met one of the producers (who ended up becoming one of our dearest friends).
"When Paul Schrader saw our house in an actual canyon, he insisted on switching locations.
"Hair and make-up were done in the downstairs bedroom and at one point Lindsay Lohan locked herself in and refused to come out to film a nude scene.
"Paul Schrader climbed through the bedroom window to persuade her and offered to direct the scene in the nude to make her more comfortable. It worked!”
