Linda Robson had clearly had enough on the latest episode of Loose Women as she stepped in when it 'kicked off' with her co-stars. The Birds of a Feather actress was on the ITV lunchtime show's panel on Friday (November 11) alongside Carol McGiffin, Stacey Solomon and Kaye Adams.
The four-piece were on hand to discuss a variety of topics and interview their latest guests, who were Charlene White's sister about the Loose Women star's appearance in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, and Ben Miller who was on to chat about his new book.
But one of the topics divided the panel - or at least pitted Stacey and Carol against Kaye. "You've heard about stay-at-home mums but what about stay-at-home girlfriends? Kaye said as she introduced the segment.

She was referring to videos on social media which have been going viral on TikTok and show women "documenting their lives as 'house girlfriends' where they look after their partners and run light errands," Kaye explained before an example played out on air.
"Oh bore off," Linda immediately said to laughter from the live studio audience. But when Kaye suggested Carol could be one, she replied saying she was now a wife but added: "If I was younger, and I fancied a nice house for a few years and a nice holiday, I might just think about that."
Clearly surprised, Kaye remarked: "Seriously!?" to which Carol said of the trend: "I don't have a massive problem with it, as long as it's not like an ambition..." before saying she thinks it could be 'damaging' to young girls if they see the videos and think that's' all they have to do'.
Stacey then argued; "I don't agree... what's the difference between a stay-at-home mum or a housewife..." Kaye interjected to say that the difference is that you have a 'kids to look after' but Stacey replied; "A home needs to be looked after."
She added; "If someone is genuinely happy being someone's girlfriend and making a bed and making a latte every day, good on them! I don't see why we're so angry with these people." Carol said 'she's not angry' but Kaye and Linda both said they 'had a problem with it'.
"I don't want to judge anybody and if that is your choice it's up to you but I do find it quite upsetting," Kaye added. "Having two teenage girls, my mum fought for her independence. She thought for the right to go out and work, earn money and be her own person in her own right and not be an appendage to a bloke..."
Stacey then interjected to say that she gets 'confused' as while she 'doesn't want to be that' and 'isn't that', she argued that those fighting for our right to choose and right to vote; "I interpret it we were being fought for the right to make our own decisions whether that be work from home, be a stay at home wife, girlfriend... whatever you want to be."
But Kaye argued that 'we're not talking about stay-at-home boyfriends' while Carol suggested the videos may be 'tongue in cheek'. Stacey and Carol then joined forces with their views, with Stacey passionately arguing: "I think you can have it all as a woman... you can be a mum, be a businesswoman, be a CEO and everything else in between.
"And yeah you can but let me tell you, you'll never sleep, it's hard work... it's not this American dream." Kaye and Stacey then argued back and forth about those making the videos having 'a choice'. "What Stacey said is right," Carol butted in and added: "You're telling these girls they've got to be CEOs..." before Kaye stepped in to say she was being 'ridiculous' and that she 'didn't say that'.
They then argued about being in an 'equal relationship' to which Stacey, 33, appeared offended and argued; "Equal monetarily? I'm not in an equal financial relationship now, should I be?" As Kaye said; "Nor am I," Stacey hit back; "But should I be? Cause we're saying girls should be..."
But before Stacey could finish, Linda piped up and said; "Can we talk about our auras?" referring to the next segment. "We'll have to agree to disagree," she added. "I'm waiting to find out about my aura." The panel and audience burst into laughter while Carol said; "Thanks, Linda."
However, Loose Women viewers were already wading in on social media. @LrnDanielle12 tweeted: "Oooooh it’s kicking off. Tbh I’m with Stacey and Carol, why is anyone bothered? To each their own. There ARE stay at home dads, just like I’m sure there are stay at home boyfriends. I would love to be a stay at home wife/mum to be #LooseWomen."

Why are people so angry about two consenting adults, choosing to live their lives in a way that makes them happy."
