Lincoln City have been boosted by the return to fitness of attacker Danny Mandroiu ahead of the trip to Bolton Wanderers while midfielder Jay Benn is a doubt due to a knee problem.
Wanderers return to action following the international break this weekend against the Imps. Lincoln make the journey to the University of Bolton Stadium.
The Whites sit in the play-offs still despite not being in action last weekend as the trip to Portsmouth was postponed. Nor were the Imps after the clash versus MK Dons was postponed owing to international call-ups.
Mark Kennedy's side were last in action in the Papa Johns Trophy last Tuesday. The Imps lost 2-1 at Sincil Bank to Doncaster Rovers.
Speaking after the game, Kennedy provided an injury boost for his side as he confirmed summer signing Mandroiu was due to return to training at the start of this week. However, midfielder Benn is dealing with tendonitis in his knee, which puts his involvement against Wanderers this weekend in doubt.
He said: "Jay's got a problem with his knee. It's just a bit of tendonitis so it just needs managing. He's had a really fractured time since he's come to the club in terms of fitness.
"It's been really sporadic, really on and off and the decision was made to offlload him for a few weeks and it's been seven to 10 days already. He's still got a little bit to go, but through no fault of his own or anybody else, it's just getting persistent pain in his knee, so we're at the mercy of his pain basically.
"It has been decided just to take him out of that enviroment. We tried, we took him out, a few days on, a few days off, so we've just decided to completely offload him."
