Warner Bros. Discovery has announced the limited re-release of Christopher Nolan's mind-bending film 'Tenet' for a week in IMAX 70mm and other large-format screens. The screenings, scheduled to begin on February 23, will also include exclusive footage from Denis Villeneuve's highly anticipated 'Dune: Part Two,' set to release a week later on March 1. Tickets for these special showings are already available for purchase.
Nolan, known for his visionary filmmaking, expressed his excitement about audiences getting the chance to experience 'Tenet' as it was intended to be seen. Shot entirely on large-format film stock, the movie was meant for the grandeur of IMAX and large-format screens. Despite being the first major Hollywood film to open in theaters during the pandemic in September 2020, it did not receive its full due on the big screen due to limited capacities and closures in major cities like Los Angeles and New York.
