Lila Moss raised eyebrows as she showed off her talon toenails for a magazine photoshoot – with some fans calling them “weapons” because they are so long.
The daughter of supermodel Kate Moss sported a set of pointy bright red toenails with the beauty fashion statement soon becoming a conversation point.
“An honour to be photographed by @zhonglin_ for @theperfectmagazine,” the 19-year-old penned next to the controversial carousel of snaps.
She shared the picture with her 400,000 followers and all fans are wondering is how she manages to wear socks with the mad pedicure.
The toenail-claws were out as part of a photoshoot for Perfect Magazine’s September issue.
“Y’all are loving the toes but how does she get her socks on,” probed one adoring fan. “Them toes boutta cut people damn,” joked another.
One person, clearly not a fan, said: “Omg the nails made me physically sick.” A second said: “As much as I love her this scared me and I didn’t need to see it.”
Someone, clearly loving the quirky design, said: “The more extreme you go in the physical transformation the better and more intriguing.”
“No to the nails,” added another. “The toes are looking super sexy,” said another commenter. Pal Bella Freud said: “Loving the toe️s” - adding a heart emoji.
It comes after fashion star mum Kate took her lookalike daughter to this year’s Met Gala.
Lila donned an embellished nude look by Burberry, with a sheer dress studded with diamonds and a bodysuit underneath.
While Lila has grown up around the world of fashion, that was her first appearance on the red carpet at the Met Gala.
Speaking to British Vogue, which she featured on the May cover, Lila described her mum as “old and boring” and let slip she lives in tracksuit bottoms at home but “doesn't want anyone to know”.
Lila said she has come to realise her mum's style is “actually really cool” as she lives in leisurewear behind closed doors.
“She doesn’t have a good trackies selection. She only has pyjamas," laughed Lila.
“She probably would hate me saying that! She doesn’t want anyone to know she wears trackies!"
Kate, now 48, became one of the most in demand models on the planet after being discovered by a modelling scout at the age of 14.
Despite the huge success Kate has achieved, she was less keen for a young Lila to follow in her footsteps.
Lila explained: “My mum always put me off [modelling]. She was always like: ‘If you wanna do it, you can, but I wouldn’t recommend it.”
