Reece Walsh carried Brisbane on his back to the premiership last year and club legend Steve Renouf insists he can lift them to the finals again if he continues to take charge of the attack.

Walsh played fullback in the 14-12 away win over Penrith on Thursday but right from the start of the match he went into a first receiver role and played as a virtual five-eighth.
