Bruno Guimaraes believes the 'crazy' support of Newcastle United fans has made him quickly feel at home on Tyneside. The January signing has proven a sensation at St James' Park and is already targeting long-awaited silverware with his new club.
Guimaraes was the marquee arrival during the mid-season window last season, but was slowly introduced by Eddie Howe into the starting eleven. However, a series of fine performances have led to the Brazil international now becoming one of the first names on the team sheet.
It is these displays and this Brazilian connection with fellow midfielder Joelinton which has already led to Guimaraes to becoming a cult hero in the stands. The 24-year-old has opened up on the fanatical support he receives from fans, both inside and outside of St James' Park.
