A potentially life-changing competition to win a Nottingham property worth £2 million has been launched. A six-bedroom four-storey villa, situated in the Park Estate, is being raffled off by owner Elliot Andrew.
The 36-year-old businessman, who has renovated every room of the house since buying it in 2019, will hand the keys over to one lucky winner in August. The nearly 200-year-old 6,000 sq. ft property in Park Terrace, which even comes with its own cave, was one of the first homes to be built in the Park and is Grade II listed.
Win My Home, which is running the competition, offers a number of packages ranging from 15 entries for £10 to 1000 entries for £350. People can also have a free punt with a singular postal entry before the competition closes on July 31.

Mr Andrew said he had spent more than £500,000 renovating the villa after buying it for just over £1 million. "It was beige carpet, yellow walls, quite a lot of things were broken," he described to Nottinghamshire Live.
"Because it had been offices, a dentist, hotel and residential for a bit the layout made no sense - there was a kitchen on the top floor. I didn't like anything about it but I saw the potential."
Having lived in a caravan in Cornwall just over 10 years ago, Chester-born Mr Andrew said his ideal winner would be a family looking to get on the property ladder. "Ten years ago I was living in a caravan and working in Matalan, I didn't even have a passport," he said.
"Over the past decade I've been doing nothing but work really hard. I'm 36 so I'd like to tick off a list of things to do before 40, and I really like the concept of Win My Home.
"Quite a few of my friends are trying to get on the housing ladder but our struggling. I feel very lucky and grateful for what I have but I'm very aware sometimes of what they don't have. I look at where I was 10 years ago and there's loads of people that are massively misfortunate."
The competition winner can sell the home or take ownership, with stamp duty, legal fees and a year's worth of council tax all included. Utility bills will have to be paid for, however money can be made through renting out the property, with it currently being listed for £1,800 per night on Booking.com.
Mr Andrew, who runs his own recruitment firm, now has ambitions of moving abroad or building his own home. "There's been a few occasions in my life where I could have ended up homeless. I see it as potential a win-win all round, it could be a life-changing win for someone.
"To go the more traditional route, it would just end up going to someone with shed loads of money, has no problems in life and has no idea about cost of living issues. I'd love to see someone younger than me that's maybe got a new family, a couple of little kids, local people," he said.
"That would be great, I would be delighted. It would genuinely change their lives, as opposed to someone who doesn't need it." To enter the competition visit winmyhome.co.uk.
