Liel Abada handed Celtic transfer advice as Israel teammate predicts imminent move to 'bigger' league

Israel winger Manor Solomon has urged Celtic star Liel Abada to look at moving to a "bigger league".

The 20-year-old has enjoyed an impressive debut season at Parkhead playing a key part in the surge towards the Scottish Premiership and also lifted the Premier Sports Cup.

The forward, who has scored 15 goals and provided another 11 assists, has also been named PFA Young Player of the Year following his £3.5million switch last summer.

And Shakhtar Donetsk star Solomon, who looks set for a move to Fulham this summer, reckons that Abada is ready to move on.

He told Sport5 : "He's (Abada) been an amazing success.

“I was very happy for him when he went to Celtic.

"I thought it was the right place for him and we can see that this season. For a 20-year-old player in his debut season to make such a campaign it is amazing.

“This is just the beginning. I hope to see him on bigger stages than Celtic.”
