Lidl’s premium ice cream maker finally hits stores this week – and it’s only £69.99!

Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker.

QUICK SUMMARY

Lidl has launched the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker in select stores.

Available from 16th July, the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker has seven programmes, and whips up ice cream in just minutes.

Another day, another new ice cream maker! Lidl has just announced the retailer will be adding the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker to the middle aisle of its stores – and it’s only £69.99!

Due to the insanely hot weather we’ve been having, people are doing everything they can to cool down. One of the best ways to do it – and a way to enjoy a sweet treat at the same time – is investing in an ice cream machine.

Ice cream makers have seen a huge rise in popularity lately, mainly due to the Ninja Creami which launched back in 2024. Like traditional ice cream machines, the Ninja Creami still requires you to pre-freeze your mixture the night before, but where it differs, is that it whips up ice cream in mere minutes instead of churning for hours.

This design concept has been taken on by many different brands, including the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker which is arriving in Lidl stores this week. To make frozen treats, simply pre-make your ice cream mixture, freeze it for 24 hours, and then the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker turns it into ice cream in just a few minutes.

The Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker has seven pre-set programmes to choose from – ice cream, light ice cream, sorbet, gelato, milkshake, smoothie bowl and extras. It also has a re-spin feature if you want to make your frozen dessert smoother and creamier.

My favourite feature of the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker is ‘Extras’, the function which allows you to add chocolate chips, nuts and sprinkles to your ice cream. This is another feature inspired by the Ninja Creami, as is the design of the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker.

The control panel for the Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker sits at the top of the device. It has an on/off button, and programme selection which comes with cute miniature icons. It looks the part and it’s surprisingly small so it won’t take up too much space in your kitchen or hosting area.

The Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker comes with the main device, a mixing blade and three tubs so you can make three different ice creams at a time. It also comes with a recipe book to give you some inspiration.

The Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker is available to buy for £69.99 at Lidl. It’s due to hit stores on 16th July so you’ll want to hit the middle aisle then if you want to get your hands on it.
