Budget supermarket Lidl is reportedly aiming to cut back on the number of products they offer in the infamous 'Middle of Lidl' aisle.
As reported by Birmingham Live, the discount store is a regular provider of excellent deals on wild and wacky products for customers weekly. However, this could all be changed as the company plans to scale back, in accordance with a recent report in German trade publication Lebensmittel Zeitung.
The report states that Lidl will be cutting back on its non-food items as the middle aisle alleges to be losing its appeal with customers. Middle aisle sales have dropped below a 10 per cent share of the retailer's total business.
