Lidl shoppers looking to ‘deck the halls’ have been rushing to their local stores to pick up a gorgeous festive item that’s an absolute ‘bargain’. Members of the Extreme Couponing and Bargaining Facebook group have been raving about a pre-lit garland that people are desperate to get their hands on.
Perfect for windows, mantelpieces or bannisters the Livarno Home LED Christmas Garland costs just £12.99, and can be found in the middle of Lidl - until they’re sold out, that is.
Shoppers have been sharing photos of how they’ve used their Lidl garland, with one customer posting to the group: "Thank you to whoever recommended the £12.99 pre-lit garland from Lidl. I have not added anything to it because I quite like it plain. What a bargain."

The 15 metre garland comes with 80 energy-saving LEDs, as well as a six-hour timer with automatic repetition. It can be used indoors or outdoors, with a choice of warm or cool lights to suit all styles.
Statement doorways are a big trend with celebrities and the master of the seasonal door has to be Stacey Solomon. Last year the Loose Women star used a thick garland to make an archway entrance to Pickle Cottage and decorated it with warm lights like the ones on Lidl's product.
She then added silver bell baubles and threw in a wooden sleigh for good measure. Lidl's LED Christmas garland might not look exactly the same but it is a great place to start and you can always add more foliage (real or fake) and your own baubles for extra festive cheer.
One shopper responded with a snap of their garland commenting: “Got one! Loads left in my store.” A second added: “In middle of decorating mine ..love it! Needs some adjusting to poinsettias.”
Other shoppers have gone to town adding extra decorations to the garland, with one saying: “Here’s mine decorated with baubles I already had along with a few bows and cones. I think the end result is fab for £12.99.”
Another person who used the garland to decorate their front door wrote: “Yes I had one and did mine yesterday but I added stuff to mine ...took me 3 hrs.”
You can shop the garland at your nearest Lidl store, however, the product is only available while stocks last, so you’ll have to be quick.
